Darius Miles SF 6-9 200 19 Lincoln Miles is one of the rare straight to the league prospects as he is making the leap right from high school. This makes Miles a bit of an unknown commodity as he is a rather raw player, given his age. While Miles may be a raw prospect, he makes up for it with his physical traits and sheer potential. He stands at 6’9 and has a tremendous wing span to match. He pairs his size and length with freakish athletic abilities. He zips around the court and can make highlight reel dunks with how high he jumps. Offensively he has developed a nice crossover and is comfortable handling the ball away from the basket. In high school he was a “do it all” type player and that gives him versatility. His quickness allows him to beat defenders off the dribble. He is more than comfortable controlling the offense even if it's not his destined position. One area he will need to work on offensively is his shooting form. He lacks any functional range and it will limit his impact offensively, at least initially. Scouts doubt that he will ever develop a 3 point element to his game, but anything is possible. Defensively he should be able to hold his own. Again, his athleticism and length allow him to stick on opposing players. He averaged a whopping 9 blocks per game in college, while it's impossible to keep up anything near that level in TMBSL it shows good fundamentals.
