It would be very bold of Trofie to lie. We could tie it up and see if anyone flips. Public opinion might be too far gone for that though.

If Pete is Mafia, yes. Bk blatantly tried to save him. I’d hope Pete’s fellow capos wouldn’t make it so obvious but I wouldn’t put it past bk Pointy might just mean that Pete and BK had the exact same arguement in their posts |

we have nothing to gain by ending the day early and not hearing from pete before the scheduled COB majority kill which would be him currently. people that just want to vote him up and have no other substantive discussion that can be used in future days to help the town is just helping the mafia all the smart people know this is a fact, anyone that feels differently is trolling/mafia druceHere. Once it became clear that Pete could be voted off - he was outed by someone claiming sheriff, of course he is being voted off. Bk just didn’t want to have a majority timer and wanted us to hear from Pete and be able to collect some info from day 2, which I suppose we are doing now.

Scenario 1: majority vote for pete, he says nothing, and he turns out to be vanilla
Trofie is obviously mafia
2: same thing except he’s mafia
One less mafia member with no chance of diverting our attention or framing a vanilla
3: we let pete say his piece (gave us nothing substantial)
We only gave him room to deceive us

No one was going to be diverted. Pete was always going to be the one to die. It could've happened two hours ago, or now we have 2 hours of posts by multiple people that those who are still alive in later days can use to help them decide who to vote for.
I "pulled strings" as you put it, and it worked. It's called playing the game.

Not my fault you apparently only play with fucking morons, I set out my arguments and make my moves as if the players of the game aren't complete idiots. I know sometimes that ends up not being the case. (shoutout to delap literally saying he was mafia game 5 and no one voting for him for multiple days)

Well that's fine, and you've explained your position, it does have some merit. However, that's usually not the best move in this game and not what veteran players seek to do. So you can at least accept that your preferred position is usually viewed with scrutiny.
