Kentavious Caldwell-Pope SG 6-5 190 20 Georgia Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, or KCP as everyone will call him, is a bit of an underrated candidate in this class, with his Georgia team missing the playoffs each of his two seasons. As a freshman he was inconsistent but he showed incredible improvement for his sophomore year. The only good player on his team, it’s a bit hard to gauge his offensive potential in the league. In Georgia he fell in love with his jumper at times, but there weren’t many driving lanes to the rim, with defenses marking him all over the court. His jumper though is his best asset, the ball comes out of his hands quick and smooth, even after extending his range to the TMBSLs 3 point line in workouts. KCP can be useful without being a major threat to attack the paint, but scouts think it puts a cap on his potential in the league. KCP’s defense is also above average for his position, though his contributions rarely show up in the box score. Aside from shooting, his main asset is easily his ability to rebound, especially on defense with an eye-popping 19.7 defensive rebounding percentage; not many shooting guards have the size and athleticism to be such a factor on the glass.
