I have 12 players on my roster. I shouldn't need an IR. I posted a new DC after my trade.
Can I get approved for full 8k please?

for future reference for everyone, if a GM posts multiple DCs that work, i'm entering whichever one i see first, not out of spite but because it's the one i see. to avoid the wrong one being entered, delete all but one DC before deadline

Putting aside my trolling ways... Soup should get the 8k. He posted a new DC once the trade happened and it was correct. So not only is he taking the hit by not getting the full 8k he also had the wrong DC entered and it impacted his team

the issue with rewarding the posting of multiple DCs is that people are going to expect being rewarded for posting multiple DCs in the future, which they should, and they have no reason to limit themselves to two. why not five DCs per GM? ten? if all it takes is posting one correct one and posting incorrect ones doesn't matter, it behooves any GM to post multiple DCs just to be sure
that system would be completely unworkable, so we're not going to implement it

I think you need to be flexible here. |

Soup literally followed what the rules say and is being punished for it.
Don’t want people to expect to be rewarded in the future? Let’s change the wording of the rule so it lines up with what actually is desired. If he shouldn’t be posting a new DC in a new post after making a trade, let’s not have the rule say that.
As someone just coming back to the league, soup was actually being an obedient GM by referencing the rules and following what they said.
