Welcome to the league! 1. Select an NBA/ABA team that is not currently represented on the standings page. The same city as another team is okay. The same name as another team is not. Example: if the Charlotte Hornets are in the league, the Charlotte Bobcats can join, but the New Orleans Hornets cannot. 2. Acquire at least twelve players. 3. Set a depth chart. Not all players are eligible at all positions. Consult the rules thread: tmbslsix.proboards.com/thread/8/rules4. After the playoffs after the first sim 8 of your tenure, you can partake in an expansion draft. Details for this are also in the rules thread. That's it! Welcome :D |

To clarify, I'd like to take over the Twolves roster and move the franchise to the city of brotherly love to be the 76ers, if possible. welcome back! you cannot take over the timberwolves until 12:40 eastern tomorrow, and that's only if ian doesn't renege. also be advised that if you do take them over you take over everything: roster, owed and received assets, etc. if you do, you cannot move to the east unless a current eastern GM agrees to trade spots with you you can however take over an empty spot in either conference immediately, if you want |

FA bids are due tonight 7:30 i also feel like i should clarify - you don't have to get an eastern GM to switch with you right this second, everyone always has the option to swap conferences if they get a swap buddy |

The atlanta hawks are available. Or you could take an empty team, sign free agents and do an "expansion draft" at the end of the season. Each team in the league would protect 5 players and then you'd get to select a player from each team that isn't protected. There's a lot of talent inflation in the league right now so you might be able to get a nice squad going that route.

If you go expansion, you can take any of the teams currently in the league without a GM (Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves) or you can choose any NBA or ABA franchise throughout history that isn’t in the league (Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, tons of others).
