No poll here, feel free to comment if you disagree or agree.
The general idea is that some board Duties are not like the others. Compare doing owed assets or running the bank to running the casino. Currently they all pay 25k a season.
This is just a post to grab everyone and Eric's attention. I think everyone can agree (sound off below if you disagree!!) That the bank and owed assets thread deserve a little more than improvements/casino. I'm not going to post a poll or anything because I'm sure Eric can decide an appropriate improved compensation amount and just post it in the next rule changes thread.
To Eric: if you'd rather this be a poll or something we can do that but I figured an idea with no dissent and commissioner discretion on any changes is also workable

Note I didn't mention DM here. While it does take a lot of work it also is a lot of power in return. Id leave it up to Eric to decide on changing DM comp.

I’m not really “running” the casino and wouldn’t ask for compensation for it.
Draft runner is tougher than the bank IMO since you need to be online and attentive for a full day once per season when the timer starts.

Owed assets is not a tough job at all. It can be a little annoying at high volume trade times but outside of that if you stay on top of it when you sign in it's pretty easy.
If anything deserves way more compensation than anything else it's draft master. That's a grind and you only see like 30% of the work posted on the board. Accumulating the data and poring over scouting reports, college stats, etc. takes forever.

I havent done any other jobs other than running the draft and being DM for a few seasons.
Obviously being the DM is the tougher of the two, although running the draft is a pain in the ass. I personally think the free +5 that the draft runner gets is probable fair compensation, maybe Tim feels differently.
As for DM, it take alot of work to put together the full list of players, figuring out who to use and getting all their correct metrics. Then you have to research and write the profiles.
I personally think that if 1 person is doing it there should be added compensation, if there are 2 people there should be a benefit to both doing it. Currently me and Druce have to split the 25k or free +5, which I am not sure is fair.

I think they should both get the full amount based on the amount of work to do that job. It far outstrips other board duties that I've done in terms of workload.
