Myles Turner is an impressive youngster with high upside potential. In his lone season at Texas Turner showed a wide range of skills. Turner has the potential to lead the league in blocks some day with his fantastic timing and leaping ability. He pairs this with an exceptional jump shot and range that extends to the three point line. Currently he’s an above average scorer down low and has good bulk and strength for his age. He has a high basketball IQ and rotates well defensively, with a distinct ability to lock down the opposition's best post scorer. Turner also takes care of the ball on offense and won’t turn it over often at all. His biggest opportunity for growth looks to be on the glass, where sometimes he sacrifices positioning to go for blocks. Despite his numbers in college not showing it, it’s entirely possible that Myles develops into a go-to scorer as a pro. The sky is the limit for Turner given what he’s shown in his only season in college, his frame, and natural skills.
