Montrez Harrell C 6-8 255 21 LouisvilleHarrell enters the professional ranks as an extremely efficient inside scorer. Shooting from anywhere outside of the paint is where it gets dicey for Harrell. He’s not a proficient jump shooter, and isn’t effective from any type of range. Trez is a bulldog down low, using his strength to get to the bucket and get his shot. He’ll transition smoothly to the professional ranks in the strength department and should guard the post well also. Defensive counting stats he’s not figured to blow up the leaderboard, but he will occasionally contribute a steal or block. He’s also not a rebound hound, figuring to settle in a little bit below average as a prob. Harrell’s main value to a franchise will be on the offensive end with his scoring. He takes pretty good care of the ball, but looks for his shot more than any attempt to pass out of the post. Scouts don’t see a ton of room for development for Trez unfortunately, he’s more of a finished product at this point.
