Angelo “Hank” Luisetti SF 6’2 200 23 StanfordLuisetti is remembered for being the first player to shoot a running one-handed shot at a time when everyone else was shooting two-handed set shots or hook shots. He developed his unique shot, often from distance, as a way of competing against the taller boys that he often played against as a child. Luisetti was also a great ball-handler and passer. Hank isn’t the strongest player so he’ll have to use his floater to score in the post in TMBSL, but he should be very good at range. On the defensive end he leaves something to be desired. Bigger wings will take advantage of him down low, and he has trouble staying with smaller quicker wings as he’s limited athletically. Luisetti is likely to be a net neutral on the glass, above average for a wing player. He does have a tendency to use his instincts well on defense and swipe the ball with excellent timing. As one of the older players in the class Hank figures to come into the league as a polished and competent scorer, being the NCAA’s all time leading scorer when he departed. That being said there likely won’t be a lot of growth from him either once he’s drafted.
