This Running Rebel comes to TMBSL after being the spark that drove a high-flying UNLV offense to a 28-3 record, PCAA title, and #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament before losing to Thurl Bailey and the NC State Wolfpack. Scouts note that Green is a bouncy, quick athlete that mainly focuses on attacking teams on the offensive end. He is AGGRESSIVE. Once the ball is in his hand it's not coming out unless it's headed toward the rim or the other team has stripped it away, which is something that unfortunately happens a bit too much. But you live with it because the man gets buckets. He uses his speed to beat opponents with his dribble and attack the rim with fury. Just when people give him a step he can rise and sink the pull-up jumper. He has a very smooth stroke and even showed the ability to shoot the three pointer in his senior season, which is a bit unique for a big. He attacks even when he doesn't have the ball, pounding the offensive glass to find easy putback opportunities.
While his main focus is scoring points, he isn't a total slouch on defense. He's a respectable defender and will even occasionally find a block though you shouldn't expect him to ever approach even Honorable Mentions for an All-Defense team. He simply won't be a total liability there. He'll make his money on the other end of the court getting buckets instead of defending his.
