James WorthySF6’9”22521UNCBig Game James enters TMBSL as a cog for a championship college team. He’s a versatile wing player who does a bit of everything. Defensively Worthy is an effort guy who will give you blocks and steals but not in an abundance. He’s athletic enough to guard wing players and strong enough to swing down low in a pinch. As far as the glass goes he won’t be the highest rebounding wing of all time by any means but he does his part and won’t hurt you either. Worthy will be 21 when he enters the league so he should have some growth potential as well. Though he’s not much of a threat from beyond the arc, Worthy should score with good to great efficiency for a wing player. His mid range game improved every year in Chapel Hill though he will still need some focus there as a pro. Where James really shines on offense is his ability to post up. He can finish over either shoulder interchangeably and his face up game is polished. He bullies smaller wings down low like an established veteran, and his strength is advanced for a college player. When it comes to offensive flow Worthy is a net neutral. He’s not going to make a ton of flashy passes but he’s able to find the open man when he needs to, and he’s also pretty sure-handed in keeping it under control. Not a ball dominant player by any means, he’ll mostly get it in the post and go to work. He doesn’t get stripped very often down low.

What a garbage write-up of a HOFer.
