Fecta - Charlotte Hornets
GM Skill: F
Personality: F
Team Success: F
Final Grade: F
Breakdown: Well Fecta kicks us off with a bang. A report card Bart would be proud of. Bad at Sim is now synonymous with Fecta. Does really upgrade all his guys because he doesn't really do articles and he's rarely part of shout. And his team has never even reached contender status. On the bright side the only direction he can go is up.
Dumptime - Boston Celtics
GM Skill: D
Personality: D -
Team Success: D
Final Grade: D -
Breakdown: Dump gets a raw deal being so new to the league. A couple of questionable trades earlier and lets call it a surprising draft pick in this past draft. Dump is a cool dude but has yet to really jump into much in shout or articles.
Mike - Chicago Bulls
GM Skill: D
Personality: D
Team Success: D
Final Grade: D
Breakdown: Mike seems like a really good dude in the small samples we get to see him. He's really easy to deal with him. His picks are hit and miss and he doesn't do much as far as articles. He's had some good major moves but struggles to build around the studs. And he failed to see the wheels coming off and got nothing for his short run. Still a pretty good dude.
Duc - Miami Heat
GM Skill: D+
Personality: D
Team Success: D
Final Grade: D
Breakdown: Duc did a nice job of moving off from Gates to set up a nice run of picks down the road. He made the correct picks at the time and some nice moves to put talent around them. A smidge of bad FA luck hurt this run and now he's got to figure out what is next as those prized rookies are due for the next contract. Duc isn't in shout as much and doesn't really provide any content to the league. His team to this point hasn't entered the elite range and before the picks it wasn't good at all.
Odin - Charlotte Bobcats
GM Skill: D+
Personality: F
Team Success: C-
Final Grade: D+
Breakdown: Odin isn't my cup of tea and he and I have butted heads to the point its best we just don't interact in shout. His pods are largely average at best. He did a fantastic job in the creation draft 10 years ago and most of his moves since have been pretty meh at best. Seems like this franchise peaked in 3000 and its been downhill ever since.
Sap - Cleveland Cavs
GM Skill: C-
Personality: D+
Team Success: D
Final Grade: D+
Breakdown: Sap's had some hit and miss trades in his 6.0 run. For his bad Woodson deal he turned around with a Chenky Baby trade. Sap is a quirky personality with "daddy" and "Ian" issues. He used to provide some pods but that's dried up recently. His team has largely been below average and his claim to fame was knocking out the 1 seed Knicks as a 8 Seed.
BA - Pittsburg Pipers
GM Skill: C-
Personality: C-
Team Success: D-
Final Grade: D+
Breakdown: Ba has taken him time to get a feel for 6.0 but he's yet to really to put it together. He's done a nice job of waiting the wheel out, drafting solid players and now a bunch of picks are coming due. He's a really nice dude off board but he's easily to deal with. Hopefully those traits help in building his team in the future because to this point his team has been garbage.
Yawn - Washington Bullets
GM Skill: C-
Personality: C+
Team Success: D+
Final Grade: C-
Breakdown: Yawn is an easy to deal with GM. Deals seem to either happen quick or get shot done quick and he's a very straight shooter. His random shout rants on league topics are always fantastic and his HOF and News articles are always amazing. They just are few and far in between. Still one of the best personalities in the league. Props to the lady helping him in the scavenger hunt. His team lives in the Yawn Zone and he's cool with that. Currently he has the making of the best roster in 6.0 but will he make the extra move require to become a true contender.
Ank - New York Knicks
GM Skill: C+
Personality: D+
Team Success: C-
Final Grade: C-
Breakdown: Ank was blessed with the #1 pick in creation and largely wasted the window given to him. He failed to build a winner but quickly moved for future picks. The Kyrie pick was a no brainer but it feels like Deja Vu as it doesn't seem like he's figuring out how to build around his superstar. Ank has always been a good dude to me and pretty easy to deal with. But he doesn't provide much as far as articles and he also helped lead the charge to this shit change of scouting, yet he's trading his current scouts in backdoor deals for other scouts. Some credit to Ank for the scavenger hunt that brought joy to the league but is so piss poor run its killed the joy for some.
Delap - Toronto Raptors
GM Skill: C-
Personality: B
Team Success: C-
Final Grade: C+
Breakdown: Delap has a solid team post creation but it really never panned as expected. He probably didn't get enough in return for that original crew that led to his rebuild being a bit slower. He's not really hit a HR in his picks, granted he's not had the top tier selections to this point. Delap is a cool cat in shout and provides a ton of content to the league. A notorious cheap bastard when it comes to others when voting he seems to not suffer on the flip side. Delap overall is a middle of the road GM 10 years in.
Skrouse - Orlando Magic
GM Skill: C+
Personality: B-
Team Success: C-
Final Grade: C+
Breakdown: Skrouse built a solid team that couldn't get over the top from creation. He also had a few hiccups with the understanding of rules that cause some hiccups but ultimately he got good returns on his tear down. He's done a pretty good job on hitting on solid draft picks and Yao is on the horizon. Skrouse brings a ton to the league, always a solid member to any pod he joins, he manages our skrouse banks and his recent Stock Market game is pretty awesome when you take the time to dive into it. His team looked to be on the verge of being pretty good making a solid run but it could be fools gold so Skrouse changed gears this year. Still his team hasn't achieved what he's hoped till this point.
JHB - Atlanta Hawks
GM Skill: B-
Personality: C+
Team Success: C+
Final Grade: C+
Breakdown: JHB was a pioneer of the defense first squad. Having some of the best defensive rosters in the league early in 6.0. He was able to tear that team down when it was clear and got good returns in his moves. JHB provides a lot to the from owed assets to profiles and even though he's not in shout all day he's still active enough. JHB has done a good job in the draft but we shouldn't be surprised he's the mastermind of all these classes lol. Thanks for being our Draft Mistro if we are approaching the end of your run.
Heebs - Indiana Pacers
GM Skill: B-
Personality: C+
Team Success: C+
Final Grade: B-
Breakdown: Heebs started 6.0 selecting Drexler and proceeded to build around him. He's not been super active in the trade market but he's done a good job of making nice selections like Bynum. Even though Heebs is one of three GMs to make the playoffs every single season his team is basically a step above the yawn zone. A 4-6 seed type roster just like Heebs likes it. When he provides content via pods they generally are entertaining but not as plentiful as others. He's not in shout much either. Still one of the better GMs in the East till this point.
20s - Carolina Cougars
GM Skill: B-
Personality: A-
Team Success: B-
Final Grade: B
Breakdown: 20s has done a nice job in the draft and he's boosted his players in smart ways. He was able to go from an Inside focus team and swapped to an Outside focus team without skipping a beat. 20s is the best content provider in the league without question. His articles are second to none and even if he can at times be a smidge annoying I enjoy him a great deal in shout. Just one of the best overall dudes that is part of this league. The Cougars have been regular season monsters but for some reason have never sniffed a title and year after year had very disappointing early exits. The cougars are overdue for a title just not sure at this point this current roster is going to do it for him. Still he's one of the best guys this league has and a top 5 GM in this league.
