Important mafia rule: If there is only 1 more town than mafia (like the 3:2 situation we were just in), you need to use majority vote to avoid deadline antics like what Trof did.

Just to mention, this is why I like games without completely defined role lists. You have nuance and it requires thinking all the way until the final day. Anks gambit would not have been possible with a defined role list. A game with a define role list just becomes rolecall after a few days which is boring as fuck.

If the first majority vote which Druce broke was allowed to continue, Trofie would have had to flip and reveal himself with like 45 minutes left. Because Trof's vote change doesn't end the game in that scenario, it just resets the majority timer. |

Really enjoyed this set-up and games like this because trying to unpack a gambit like that is what's entertaining. h/t to ank because that was awesome I was pretty suspicious that move was happening but up until 20s got killed I thought it was him I was willing to lose to Ank for going all in on a move like that when there still could have been two other sheriffs alive to counterclaim him |

There were so many pushes against you and people like Druce who was saying you were mafia pretending to be sheriff the entire time and literally no one gave a shit. It was top quality entertainment for the host.

I would argue that the reason my fake claim worked is that the initial vote against me was objectively wrong/questionable. So I was able to argue against it objectively. I told very few lies in this game other than being cop and JHB being mafia. Those were basically the only 2 lies. Everything else was mostly genuine. |
