I'd like to open the position up for someone else to take over. Just a bit burnt out and struggling to finish the 3012 class.
I'll finish that class but I'd like to get someone else in the roll for 3013 and beyond.

I am not certain I could take over entire classes, at least not right away, but I might be interested in helping out on some profiles every year.
Would also need some guidance on creating accurate and balanced players but its something I am open to.

something i've thought of in the past that seems relevant now is explicit term lengths for jobs like draft master to reduce the possibility of burnout
for example, majic/druce could sign up for a 10 class run, someone else could sign up for the next 10, and so on

I volunteer to be DM. I figure burnout would eventually be a problem for me as well, so I'm also supportive of the term limits eric mentioned above.

i'd be interested in trying no profiles for a time period just to see what eric comes up with for how he decides to build players. i imagine it would be better put together than whatever jhb uses to write profiles (no offense jhb but its eric ya know).
so theoretically it could end up with much better final results

Well as I said I am open to sharing the duty so let me know the plans. Sounds like you and Druce tag-teaming is the current frontrunner. I think doing away with profiles means eric has to research those guys himself, which is more work for him and probably not preferable. |
