good pod, appreciate the kind words
for resignings, we do have a formula to get them closer to market value than the unhinged #heavyreign originals, and that formula boils down to $779,487,488 / 858 WS * .75. the $ / WS i think we should leave alone since that's how much a WS was really worth, but there's no reason we have to use the .75, it could be 1 or for that matter .5 or any other number in either direction. as with everything i wouldn't make a huge change in one fell swoop, but bumping it up gradually towards 1 would be fine by me if the league in general wanted to
for 5.0 creation we had grades, no stats, some profiles but significantly less. i don't think confidence was just limited to majic there, but i think multiple creation 1sts being massive busts (e.g. 5.0 luka doncic) (whom i did not make) is swimming in the back of everyone's mind this time around
for wings i am optimistic about the changes i made leading to a better balance but i don't think it's something that's going to be strikingly different at a glance, so if people are looking for that i would tamp down those expectations. the biggest influence on offense tendencies to my mind will be the first spate of upgrades - if we see 1000 points of shot blocking it's going to be rough going inside, if we see 1000 points of inside scoring it's going to be easier
