Today is a day of reflection,
A day to cry or smile and look back at the good times.

I hope i continue for my darling it's over,
cherish the days of cartels sharing the info that would bring us promise.

If i could wish upon a star,
give strength and knowledge to the man above to remove the darkness from his empty heart.

Once the day ends and no lights shine on LA,
maybe a new GM will be born again to rise from the cellar.

It was a path to smiles, it was a beacon for laughter,
the few that won really lost and we stand today without the assurance of tomorrow.

Sim 8 will continue,
but the excitement will forever be lost.

I, sir Joseph Dirt will be taking a leave of absence. 

Vacations are warranted and a dark tower awaits the sorcerer to gain his knowledge and come back prepared for the void of pre-pick scouting.

If I quit I would have said I quit. Does this have quit anywhere?

My trade may be controversial but I have my reasons.

A: NVE is a good pg but will never been in the same class as Kyrie or CP3. If he shot anywhere near those 2 I never would have traded him. He recieved very little interest throughout the league.
B: Love is a good PF but leads the league in fouls and can't stay on the court consistently. When he does he gets torched. I still stand here believing a PF shouldn't be your main piece. 
C: I know I gave up young pieces for a 30 year old ex-MVP. I believe I will have a better chance at short term success the next couple years with him as my focal piece.
D: I have the 5th best offense in the league but my defense is a disaster. These two young players are a key factor in that. As much as offense wins games it hasn't translated to a good enough record for me to keep them around.

Of course trading the young players didn't bother me because of the disappointment and frustration I now have with the league. I will be taking a step back in activity the next few days to recharge and decide if I want to continue running the Clippers.

Yeah I agree that Van Exel is overrated. I do like Love though.
