I didn't take Trofie seriously yesterday. I'm not sure I'll take him seriously today. If he was truly maf he'd probably be playing a bit more carefully but I haven't played with him much so idk his style

We should be at an 8-3 town advantage now, correct?
I can't decide if the mafia didn't attempt to kill trofie because:
A) they didn't realize it would mean the bodyguard would die protecting him and then leave the investigator open to an easy kill thereafter, giving the town only one confirmable investigations before they could kill him night 2
B) they didn't want to go to an 8-2 town advantage after one day and risk the investigator being able to use his one confirmable investigation to find one of the two
C) trofie is not the investigator and is a mafioso and this is an awkward play that doesn't make a lot of sense and banks on the actual investigator being quiet or inactive, a move that would have blown up in his face had they actually killed the investigator

It wasn’t smart to claim to be the investigator day 1 regardless, but if he’s vanilla civ and made that claim he’s really fucking us over because he probably made the bodyguard use his protection on trofie leaving the real investigator vulnerable.
If he’s mafia, it would have given them a free night kill because the bodyguard likely protected him and the mafia wouldn’t have killed one of their own so they didn’t have to worry about hitting the bodyguard night 1. But he’s definitely on our radar now so somewhat risky.
If he’s the bodyguard, he could have been trying to entice the mafia to target him so he could take out a mafia member, but that’s not how it works so this would be a beyond stupid play if he’s bodyguard.
If he’s actually the investigator, it doesn’t make sense either because he hasn’t come forward to tell us anything.
Basically, seems like claiming investigator day 1 fucks over the town no matter what so great.

trofie's play could be a smart one to see who jumps at his obviously bullshit claim *Shrugs*. The way the votes changed after he "revealed" himself could be telling in future days, but I don't see a good pattern from it now.

If skrouse is town, we just take out trofie the next day and then get the real info from the real investigator, but no reason not to believe and follow trofie right now.

smart move sherlock im sure the order of votes on skrouse is incredibly important when all of them came within literally 13 minutes -- a margin more likely to account for the timing of when people read his post than their guilt
