A top 15 recruit in the prior year's recruiting class, one year in college hasn't necessarily improved Jordan's stock so far. He got off to a slow start in college and is still fairly raw fundamentally as a player. There are things to like though, as he has rare athleticism for a near 7-footer with the wingspan of a taller man. He is a tremendous leaper, though not quite Ibaka-level, but has even better strength at this stage in his development. He has the frame to get even bigger and may have a rare build by the time he's done growing.
Right now, Jordan is still all potential on the offensive end. Despite having the strength and leaping ability you look to build a prototype interior threat, Jordan is totally raw fundamentally and has almost no interior game yet to this point. Fortunately, he has soft hands and receives the ball well and does finish strong when he gets the ball with some space in the lane, but he isn't creating his own shot right now and he has no counter moves to deal with quality contesting defenders. Everything at this point is finishing with the slam when he has the space to do it. He has no game outside of the lane, as his jump shot is a travesty and he somehow shot less than 45% from the free throw line, so it's not like there is at least some fundamentals you could look to improve upon. That's going to have to be completely rebuilt if he's going to be successful.
Defensively, there's a ton of potential. He's already got the traits to be a shot-blocker, but with his athletic ability, instincts, and some coaching he can become a truly foundational defender. He also is very aggressive on the boards and should be a plus player there, if not elite. The big question mark for Jordan is going to come from whether anyone can coax any offensive game out of him whatsoever or if he will be stuck only as a rotational player that sticks around because of his defense.
