This class is looking pretty rough early outside of the top 3. I expect a few of the guys who didn't make it to eventually creep their way back in, but we're seeing a number of players who made the Rookie Ladder get off to a slow start.
10. Joel Anthony - Charlotte Bobcats
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: HM
Season Per-36:
Summary: Really, really bad at scoring but really, really good at defending and grabbing boards. I'm not sure an upgrades reset would be worth it, but I think if you could sacrifice a rebound per-36 in favor of getting those TOs below two, you do it. Looks a lot like Jawann Oldham (and perhaps an insight into how Eric will continue to build non-profile guys with a shot blocking strength).

9. Chris Richard - Los Angeles Clippers
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: HM
Season Per-36:
Summary: Richard has maintained the efficiency we saw as a rookie and cut back on turnovers, though that may be a fluke as he didn't receive any handling upgrades during the offseason. If they stay down, he ought to move up the rankings. No defense to speak of and average rebounding puts a ceiling on him, however.

8. Nick Young - Cleveland Cavaliers
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: UR
Season Per-36:
Summary: Does an excellent job of holding on to the ball and has shown good efficiency this season, though I expect it to fall off judging by what he did last year. If that happens, Young will have a tough time being a starter in the league as his defense isn't good and his rebounding isn't anything special.

7. Tiago Splitter - Phoenix Suns
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: HM
Season Per-36:
Summary: With +20 still to go, I'm very high on Splitter. Good defender and rebounder and scoring could very easily be improved with that +20. I do worry that the turnovers could creep up a bit if AndrewLuck tries to turn him into a featured part of the offense.

6. Morris Almond - Milwaukee Bucks
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 9b
Season Per-36:
Summary: Looks like a better version of Nick Young and I have more faith in him maintaining his scoring after what he did during his rookie season and what he showed he was capable of in preseason as a featured option. Nice find for the Bucks and should be a starting SG in the league for a long time.

5. Spencer Hawes - Seattle SuperSonics
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 7a
Season Per-36:
Summary: Solid efficiency and average rebounding and turnovers. Steal numbers look nice, but he did the same thing to start off his rookie season before seeing that number drop as the season progressed. Likely never going to be much of a defender, but efficient big men will always have a place in the league, especially ones that can also score a little bit in an outside offense.

4. Greg Oden - Golden State Warriors
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 4
Season Per-36:
Summary: Second best rebounder in the class after Noah, but also a very good defender who doesn't suffer from the turnover problems that guys like Anthony and Oldham do. Scoring is surprisingly not as terrible as you'd think for a guy who was built with just 40 inside.
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 4
Season Per-36:
P R A S B T FG% FT% 3P% P/TSA PER

3. Jared Dudley - Brooklyn Nets
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 3
Season Per-36:
Summary: Good efficiency, excellent rebounding, and no turnover problems. Looks almost exactly the same - maybe a tad more efficient - than his partner on the wing in Brooklyn, Michael Brooks. Like many Nets players, probably never the #1 guy, but an excellent #2.
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 3
Season Per-36:
P R A S B T FG% FT% 3P% P/TSA PER
23.6 9.4 2.3 1.3 0.1 1.3 .515 .705 .278 1.146 20.8

2. Marc Gasol - Los Angeles Lakers
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 1
Season Per-36:
Summary: Looks just a tad worse than Horford now that Big Al is healthy and playing. Gasol is still great - fifth in scoring efficiency with good volume, turnovers aren't an issue, and offers decent defense. The crazy-high assists for a big man likely guarantee him an all-league spot for the next decade.

1. Al Horford - Milwaukee Bucks
Rookie Ladder Final Ranking: 2
Season Per-36:
Summary: Tops in the class in efficiency and sets himself apart from Gasol with the extra half block per 36. The two look very similar otherwise and I look forward to watching their careers unfold as they'll always be compared against each other.
Honorable Mentions:
Point Guards:
Mike Conley
Ramon Sessions

Arron Afflalo
Marco Belinelli
Sammy Mejia
Wilson Chandler
