Yes i deserve all the slander. I want MJ to be good regardless how dumb it is. Also, I have not fully reset MJ yet because the Greek God had to be upgraded first.

100K, good pod, cool to have eric on.
I've been drafting BPA, it's just that wings have been BPA lately. Ariza isn't bad in outside either, only take about one 3pointer per game, he makes up the defense and rebounding the other players lack.

Just finished the podcast TinyTimPig , babe. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Now I am definitely not trading back Al Jefferson. I will resign him to a Desmond Mason type of deal to let him rot in Utah. A lesser person may bring up the Sonics illustrious history pre Dwight/Jefferson and glass houses. But I won't because I'm such a NICE GUY!

Good podcast, 120k each.
On the Noel signing: he is incredibly valuable to my team construction. I would rather have him than many bigs on max contracts that don't get brought up as much as 'overpaid'. My team definitely would have taken a step back if I hadn't been able to retain him.
I disagree with Heebs that you can find someone to do what he does for 1/2 the price. If you are just comparing raw win shares, maybe? I don't know. But to find someone who was 2nd in blocks per game and 5th in rebounds per game, good luck. Ike does it but shoots a lot more and makes over 20 mil per year. Dwight and Kwame are both close but not quite there, and they both shoot a lot more and both make a lot of money as well. Not seeing where you are finding it for half the cost. Noel was doing that before as he was on a 7 mil flat deal, but he had blossomed into a truly elite D/R big during that contract and was going to fetch more than that most likely.
I completely agree with TimPig that you can find 80% of his production for 1/3 of the cost. And that makes it a tough pill to swallow, but right now I think that extra 20% from the big man position is what I need if I truly want to contend with this team construction. So I paid the premium for what I view as the best.
Sap sent me his bids and was offering him 12 mil, 5 years, 10% increases. So that is what I knew I had to beat if I wanted to retain him. I hate managing cap with raises so I wanted to keep my deal flat. Thus I landed at 15 mil flat.
