While Korver is a capable inside scorer, his offensive game is predicated around the perimeter where he is easily the top shooter in the college game. Mechanics on his jump shot enable him to shoot over most defenders as his high release and high arc make him basically impossible to block, and he is a consistent threat from beyond the 3 point line; can make basically any shot off the floor if his feet are set or if he is running of screens. His ball handling is adequate. Korver has average lateral quickness and foot speed, but is also an unselfish player and a capable passer.
A solid scheme defender, especially in the post, Korver's low athleticism place a hard ceiling on his defensive counting stats. A decent rebounder for his position, but he won't come up with many offensive rebounds due to his positioning behind the arc. A player with good strength, he does lack the hops of most players at his position though. Scouts don't see a lot of growth left for Korver.
