Yes, it was Night 1... Pete was dead on Night 2 so I couldn't have received a mystery message from him then. Sounds like I was supposed to be intimidated? I'm sure they shifted gears after Trofie up and outed Pete first thing on Day 2. Google says its a quote from Samwise Gamgee in the Goonies |

I feel like anything you could glean from it would be hidden in multiple layers of reverse psychology. But giving that you have to try --- does anyone see any connection between Pete and the quote? Or was it originated from the remaining Mafia members. Thats all probably hogwash though. The most useful thing from this is probably that no one else coming forward to say they received a message is a big town point for delap |

I don’t think we can confidently say the role wouldn’t be allowed to send messages after it had been killed. Pete’s character, Freddy Krueger, was dead but still haunting people. I didn’t watch the movies but I think that’s what happened. Anyway, I’m voting for Yawn today. I look forward to his one word vote for me in response. |

the pile on pointy was suspicious. I'm, as far as I know, the only somewhat verifiable horny counselor left. My hunch is that yawn is trying to lay low and your 2nd mafioso/horror villain comes from BK or chap.
I am leaning strongest toward yawn, but don't want to create a pile-on early in the day.
We should still have a mystery role and we have a 50/50 shot at having a vigilante.
