I’d like to know how I was proved wrong. No one in here has won every single mafia game that they’ve been in so I wouldn’t say there’s a proven strategy that would negate mine. Someone please explain to me the benefits of giving pete the mic. We gave pete the chance to talk, and yet here we are arguing about this. I can’t wait to see people try to decrypt his voting pattern
It's not about Pete. Pete has already sailed dude.
It's about what OTHER people are posting.
Think of it this way. It's Day 5. Its between you and two other people. You have the deciding vote. One of them is mafia, one of them isn't. You look back and multiple days were only 20 minutes long with no one posting anything. OR You look back and every day was long, and everyone was goaded into posting and explaining their positions on things.
Which is more useful to helping the town win?
There will inevitably be incriminating evidence. Why do we have to wait to vote Pete out? We could be getting good evidence with one less mafia member. Who is going to stick up for Pete in that instance? No one did |

You keep bringing up Pete as if that has anything to do with any of this conversation.
I feel like i've explained the meta to you multiple times now, even with helpful examples, and you are still purposefully ignoring it.
I'm definitely done repeating myself over and over. Even if you think the strategy I have laid out is dumb, it's CLEARLY the accepted meta for mafia games, as confirmed by MORE PEOPLE IN THIS THREAD THAN POSSIBLE MAFIA. So you using me using a stated town strategy as evidence that I'm not mafia is not a good look for you.
You've pigeonholed yourself into a corner where you're obviously a super dumb town who has no fucking clue what people are saying, or a mafia purposefully casting accusations at someone making pro-town plays.
The best part of that, is that I predicted it day 1 (you'd be a useless town member at best, and a helpful mafia member at worst), which is the whole reason you have clouded fucking vision that makes you unable to see what everyone else in this thread sees.

1st off: Yes you have. You have had it explained to you multiple times in multiple ways.
2nd off: Your question of "what useful information did we glean" cannot be answered immediately. I guess this counts as more explanation, but the idea is once you see who turns up mafia and other power roles as people die, things that seemed inconsequential during Day 2 while being said, take on more meaning after more information is presented.

This is true. The mafia mystery role was really weird though (sends messages at night). @ank can the mystery role be one of the "defined" roles like doctor/bodyguard or is it something not listed

I'm a little confused by this as well. My first assumption was that he can continue communicating with mafia after he dies, but usually mafia is allowed to do that anyway. |

Right now I think Pointy is the most sus. I've seen more out of him today than the entire time I've been in sim league. Obviously we have a bunch of time until tomorrow night so I could be convinced otherwise.

even if they have a chance of being the godfather, its most likely they are town so as long as everyone in the town (well except you know who) understands it's not certain, a "soft clear" is more helpful than no clear. its also possible the mystery role could have effects that are based on people visiting other people so confirmed information about visits is also helpful
