I don't know if the mystery role should necessarily reveal themselves either. Perhaps they could reveal themselves, but if their power has the ability to still do something then probably keep that hushed. Yeah in waiting to claim it, but the wait is over at this point. This is sketchy. They are literally the same statement. I've now said TWICE I think they should probably reveal themselves, but to not reveal their power. That might not seem clear in that first sentence, but I was trying to say the mystery role should come forward, but not reveal their POWER.

I literally reversed no positions today. You trying to paint me that by misconstruing my words is going to ruin any chance the town has to win this. I would've been happy to get voted off before, but we can no longer afford to lose any town. I made a mistake when I was thinking Druce voted for me specifically, but I'm on my phone and wasn't able to check all the posts in the thread until he told me he hadn't actually voted for me.

We're pretty confident there's only one power role left - I think we've mostly agreed on that (no vigilante).
If someone were to claim a mystery role, and there's no other power (which the mafia probably feels confident in as well), then why wouldn't the mafia kill the mystery role claimer whether they know the power or not?

It's a possible downside -- though we would hope the mystery role would use their power if it's still useful as this is our last chance.
The mystery role doesn't HAVE to reveal themselves, but as I've now repeated multiple times, it would create a helpful voting bloc for the town. There does seem to be merit in the mystery role not revealing themselves unless they are about to be lynched.

I thought the issue was I was lying low? I'm not mafia. The only bad thing you ding dongs can do is vote me off. So go ahead and do it and lose. If yawn is implying that he has a power role, I want to see him say it explicitly. It's easy to sit there and say don't kill me. |
