The Lakers are retaining Mick from rocky as our strength and conditioning coach It is with a heavy heart that the Lakers announce the untimely passing of Mickey Goldmill  While Mickey leaves huge shoes to fill, we hope our new Strength and Conditioning coach, former heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, will help us retain the eye of the tiger for our upcoming title defense.  The Lakers are happy to announce the retention of Apollo Creed as Strength and Conditioning Coach. While there is no replacing a legend like Apollo Creed, we must press forward, and there is no better man for the job than Tony "Duke" Evers as our new Strength & Conditioning Coach.
