Yes I'm aware of this but someone had said I get a free buyout every 3 years...but come to find out it costs 50k and is called a amnest but so not go that route and don't want to cut him at that price , well just buyout Nat for now. |

LeBron James $5,000,000 $5,000,000 $5,000,000 Let’s say LeBron James has 3 years at 5 mil a season remaining on his contract. A buyout would remove him from your roster and put all $15 million remaining on his contract on your books for this season (this must fit under the 80 mil hard cap). An amnesty would remove the player and the entire contract from your roster and it wouldn’t count against your cap in any season. It essentially wipes the contract completely. This costs 50k league currency and it’s use is unlimited (as long as you have the league currency to afford them). |

Thanks once again and I'm new here and to these rules but I know difference between and amnesty and buyout.... I just got confused because when he said free buyout I thought it meant just a free one with no salary even for this year. So I wanted to use one of those"free" buyouts and then buyout a player under my cap..... But I see a free buyout means you get to just buy out a player without paying tmbsl $$ not free contract off your books. That's what the confusion was about , never was interested in amnesty , that was just Eric's suggestion. |
