We are introducing a new smoothing element to the SRS projections to reduce early season abnormalities: the first sim will treat 40% of the season as .500, the second sim 25%, the third sim 10%, remaining sims will remove this smoothing element. The preseason and regular season balance that generates SRS in the first place has not changed.
